Miles for Smiles Event

Troy and Katie Benham, Owners of Marion Tire and Mt. Vernon Road Goodyear initiated this event 8 years ago and their continued support have kept this going today! Our goal is to provide world-class service from start to finish, and that means providing a little bit something to help with this event. Marion Tire, in conjunction with the Salvation Army has put on this event for eight years and we are honored to be able to support this event, along with the other local businesses that have contributed to this event with donations. The purpose of the program is to select a family in need and provide them with everything the need to get and maintain a car for up to a year. The recipient will be chosen from a narrowed down list of nominees that the Salvation Army receives from various community members. A selection committee will then choose the winner and the giveaway will take place live during the 6 pm local news on December 4th. This is totally unknown to the family chosen and they will be given the great news live on the spot!
